Going on a cruise!!

Tim called me up this morning and told me to start looking at cruises. Within an hour or so the trip was booked, and now we are just counting down the days. I've always wanted to go on a cruise and now we finally are. We are leaving on March 10th for a 4 day cruise!! Some friends of ours ( Dan and Shannon) are coming with us, so it will be tons of fun. I'm looking forward to the sunshine and being able to wear shorts and sandals!! We are going to Catalina Island and Ensenada (Mexico).

I Got Tagged...

Here's The Rules...

A. The rules are posted at the beginning.
B. Each Player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags five people by posting their names; then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged.

What were you doing ten years ago?

I was 15 years old and in 9th grade. I probably was going out with Chris( oh how funny it is to look back to those days). I really had a BIG crush on my brothers friend Rusty. I remember getting ready for the 9th grade night dance and they were getting ready for Prom. I was so excited to hang out with them that night after both our dances were over. I loved hanging out with the girls and doing fun things, like having sleepovers. I remember taking the car down to A.F. a lot even though I didn't have a drivers license yet. Well, I never got caught!!

Snacks I enjoy:

I like rice crisps chips( from costco), veggies with dip, crackers, hot tomales

Five things on my to-do list today:

1. Laundry
2. Chores around the house
3. Mail out some bills
4. Going to my moms to help her with her scout thing tonight
5. Cooking dinner for the family

Things if I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:

Build the house Tim and I want to build here in our same neighborhood, Buy a jet plane for Tim ( since he is a private pilot) and fly to the places we want, Give money to Tims dad so he could retire early, Travel to places around the world that I have always wanted to, get involved in charity work, Buy a cabin somewhere!!

Three of my bad habits:

1. I like things cleaned and organized a certain way, I blaim this gene on my mom!!

2. Tim would say that I don't fight fair, sometimes I say things I don't mean when I get upset. I'm working on it though.

3. I like to shop online, but I always wait until the things I want go on sale!

Jobs I have had: (oldest to newest)

Nanny for my sister
Hollywood Video
Piccadilly Petaler ( for many years)
The Mayan Restaurant ( where I met Tim)
Delta Airlines
Walmart
Mom-- sometimes you don't always get the praise you think you deserve, but it is well worth it! The best job in the whole world and the most important one.

Things people don't know about me:

1. We've owned 11 cars and 2 motorcycles since we got married, and lived in 6 different places. My brother thinks it's funny how many cars we've been through.

2. I once rode a tube in Lake Powell for over an hour through the main channel ( which is really rough water) My sister couldn't believe that I never fell off.

3 . I only had to push once when I had Kaitlyn, and both of my girls weighed the exact same 6lbs 4 oz.

4. I like going boating in the summertime, and I love the wake skate ( It's like a wakeboard without the straps for your feet) It's so much fun!!

5. I love to dance with music playing, the girls think that it's so much fun and always want me to spin them. It's kind of our fun thing to do together.

I Tag...

whoever wants to do it that hasn't yet!

Just the girls

We went to a fun town called Solvang, and checked out the elephant seals on the beach! Then we spent some time in San Luis Obispo, and then to Hearst Castle. I had the best time and the best part was that it was about 80 degrees the whole time!

Girls trip to California

This last weekend my sister and I left our kids home with their dads and took a girls trip to California! We had a blast in Santa Barbara visiting my Aunt and Uncle. It was great to go with just the girls. Some longtime family friends of ours came with us. It was so much fun spending time with my mom and my sister without the husbands around!

Having fun with Granny and Poppy

The girls love spending time with their Granny and Poppy! One of their favorite things to do is have Poppy set them and a counter and count to three and then jump to him.

Just too tired

I was getting ready a few days ago, and came out of the bathroom to find both of the girls asleep. They looked so cute just sleeping on our bed!

Buddy... our cute little puppy

Here is a picture of our new little guy. He is so little and full of energy. Makayla is a great little helper with letting him in and out of the house when he needs to go to the bathroom. It's fun to have a puppy!!

Trouble in the making

Are we in trouble or what? This little cutie will be breaking hearts in no time

Just the two of us!

Here we are smiling for our new camera. The old one got thrown in the toilet because Kaitlyn thought it was time for it "to go"

Kaitlyn's new smile

Kaitlyn has started this new thing that if you tell her to smile this is the face that she gives you. She has also started taking her hair out of elastics, so this picture is classic. What a cutie!!!

Makayla and I with our new puppy

Here is Makayla and me with our newest addition. Buddy is a Maltese/Poodle mix and we just love him. We are constantly telling Kaitlyn not to pick the puppy up by his tail or his head, she is finally starting to understand.

Our HUGE deck of cards

For Christmas this year Ben and Becca got us this awesome HUGE deck of cards, and a new game to play on the Wii. When we opened the cards we both just started laughing. It was an awesome gift!!

The Girls little kitchen

So the girls big gift from Santa this year was a little kitchen. My mom has the exact same one at her house and they can play with it forever. Makayla got so into Christmas this year that she started to pout after she realized there was nothing left to open. Girls, you've got to love them!!

Kaitlyn and the quiet book

For Christmas my dads wife Kathy made us all quiet books for church. Between the quiet book and this necklace Kaitlyn found she just sat and checked out the book. I couldn't believe how long that book kept her entertained while we were there. It is an awesome book and it's great to have 2 quiet books so both of the girls get their own now.
