Floating down the Provo River.....

On the 24th we decided it would be fun to go floating down the Provo River with the kids. So my sister (Trinnie),her husband (Brett), and their five kids (soon to be 6), my mom, step dad and our family got all of our stuff together to down the river. We have never done that before and couldn't believe how much fun it was. The kids had such a great time! Kaitlyn had fun jumping back and forth between my tube and Tim's. It took us about 45min to float down, but it was so much fun that we decided to go again. On the second ride down my mom took Kaitlyn with her and so I ended up floating down by myself. When we got to the bottom my mom asked me if Kaitlyn has ever said the word "boob" before. I told her that I have never heard her say it. I guess she was saying it most of the way down (and pointing at where they are.) I'm sure you're thinking what are you teaching your kids? But, honestly I have no idea where she heard that word. At least my mom got some good entertainment out of it!

Well, after floating the river we decided to go to the Pizza Factory for dinner. It was really good and fun to spend the day with family. Although that night my sister, nephew and I were all sick when we got home. I think my sister got it the worst, which is really sucky for her being pregnant and all. We all felt good the next day though, so who knows what made us sick?

We saved the fireworks for the next night considering we were all tired and some of us weren't feeling well. Tim and Brett had so much fun lighting off all of the fireworks! They are the ones from Wyoming...... so they put on quite a show! Kaitlyn wasn't so fond of them she made me plug her ears and she closed her eyes.... she did watch a few of them though. Makayla on the other hand absolutely loved them! She went right down to the end of the driveway to get a closer look. What a fun night!
