Our weekend in San Diego.....

On Saturday we went to the Blue Angels air show and it was amazing! We put ear plugs in the girls ears because it was so loud, but they did great. They loved all the planes they got to see. This was our first time going and it was well worth it. They had this one jet that could lift right off the ground (like a helicopter), that was incredibly to see. They also did a special tribute flight for those serving over in Iraq. My heart really went out to those who have loved ones over there protecting our freedoms over here. What an amazing group of people who are so willing to serve! Thank you to all of them. By the way there is a better picture of the air show at the bottom.

On Monday we took the girls to SeaWorld for the day. They loved everything about it! The shows were so good and kept the girls entertained...... The only bad part about it was that I broke my camera. So I got some pictures of the animals we saw, but it broke before we went to the Shamu show so I don't have any pictures of that.... which is a bummer. I would have to say that the Shamu show was my favorite, and we even got a little wet when he flipped his tail (Makayla didn't like that very much.) When Shamu first came out Kaitlyn looked at me and with big eyes said, "Big fish." Ya he is HUGE.

All in all we had a great time in San Diego. We flew in on Friday night and came home on Tuesday. Sunday we spent the day watching conference with Tim's parents, and his sister and her husband and little boy (who live out there) It was great spending time with Nic, Jess and Grant! We also got to see Tim's cousin... Jen her husband Brent and their little guy Isaac. They were at the air show with us. Good luck Jen with your c-section in a few days. I'm sure it will go well and that baby Connor will get here safe and sound. We look forward to seeing all of you over Thanksgiving.
